CUET PG 2025: Registrations for CUET PG examination are open till 08 February 2025. Candidates are welcomed on the official website of National Testing Agency (NTA) to fill out the CUET online application form. To submit the CUET PG admission form an application fee is needed. Candidates need to submit Rs.1,000/- to Rs.1,400/- during the online process. Last date for 2025 PG CUET registration was 02 February 2025 but the deadline has been extended to 08 February 2025.
CUET PG is a 90 minutes objective type exam. It has 2 types of papers: General Paper and Subject Specific Paper. General paper is an aptitude and logical reasoning test. While subject specific papers include specific subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Students can decide to appear for up to 4 different subjects in CUET PG 2025. There is a negative marking system which deducts “1 mark” for each wrong answer.

Know About CUET PG
Common University Entrance Test for Post Undergraduate (CUET PG) is an entrance test conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This exam is conducted for admission to PG courses at central universities of India. Central Universities like JNU and DU, use the CUET scores to select candidates for admissions in their postgraduate level degrees like MA, MSc, MCom, MTech etc. CUET PG registration process is open for new candidates. Applicants can visit the official NTA website and apply till 3rd February 2025.
Students can appear for 5 different PG papers in the 2025 CUET PG. It is mandatory to select at least 1 language paper. Each paper contains 50 questions, candidates must answer 40 questions out of them.
Online application process includes candidates registering on the online CUET PG 2025 portal. Filling the online application form and submitting an application fee. Admit cards for the entrance exam will be released before 2-3 days of the actual exam.
CUET PG Courses
There are many PG courses that candidates can appear for at CUET paper. Candidates have the option to choose between Humanities, Acharya, Language, MTech, and Science category subjects. There are 157 total courses available in 2025 for CUET PG applicants. Among these candidates can choose at maximum any 5 subjects to register online for.
CUET PG 2025 Registration Process
Step 1: Visit the web portal of NTA PG. @cuetpg.ntaonline.in
Step 2: Click for “New registration”, link is given on the screen.
Step 3: Enter details in the registration form.
Step 4: Submit the PG registration form to generate an application number. This will be used to login to the application portal.
Step 5: Login to the CUET PG application portal with the new created password and application number.
Step 6: Open the online PG application form available on the login portal.
Step 7: Complete the CUET PG application form.
Step 8: Provide the virtual documents for address, category, and educational details. Upload correct format of documents (whether PDF and JPG).
Step 9: Using the online payment methods like UPI, credit card, and net banking pay the PG CUET application fee.
Step 10: Submit the application form for CUET PG 2025 after completing all the above steps.

CUET PG Fees Structure
Candidates applying at Indian centres need to pay ₹ 1,000/- to ₹ 1,400/- for 2 subjects. If they want to apply for additional subjects, they can do so by paying ₹ 600/- to ₹ 700/- per subject. Although, candidates can also take this exam in centres outside India. To appear in such centres CUET PG candidates will need ₹ 7,000/- for 2 subjects. Charges for each additional subject is ₹ 3,500/-.
NTA collects CUET application fees online. Candidates can pay this fee using UPI, Net Banking, and other similar modes of payment. This helps in keeping the fee payment procedure transparent. CUET candidates can download fee receipts for every transaction from CUET login portal. In case of any complaints these fee receipts serve as proof of payments.

CUET PG Result
CUET results are released online within 1 month of the final exam date. It will be released on the PG NTA portal. Candidates will be able to see their results with the help of their application number. CUET PG result is downloadable as PDF from the online portal.
Before the release of the result candidates get their response sheet for checking. They can raise a complaint if they find that the response sheet is wrong. To challenge the answer sheet they will need to pay Rs.200/- as the online fee. All the 2025 results will be based on the final CUET PG answer key.
In the case if a candidate is caught cheating in the CUET exam 2025, his result will be canceled for this session.
CUET PG CUTOFF Marks
Every participating university is allowed to have their own cutoff marks. They can use candidates’ scores to shortlist potential students for their PG programme. Counselling CUET PG 2025
NTA organizes online counselling sessions on its official web portal for CUET PG candidates. An online counselling portal is provided for candidates to visit and apply for their chosen universities. Participating universities select candidates for PG courses based on their rank and resume. Candidates who have secured more marks than the cutoff marks can apply for the particular university on the NTA portal.
To participate in the CUET PG 2025 counselling candidates need their login ID with application number, CUET Result Card, Resume and other documents like educational certificates. An online form asking CUET result details must be filled for 2025 CUET counselling.
Universities may conduct admission outside the NTA counselling too. This depends on the respected universities how they want to select their candidates. Many universities allow students to apply with a valid CUET score without any counselling session too.
